The SunTrackersystem is absolutely self-powered. The GPS ST®, which is the brain of the Suntracker system uses the energy, in order to function, of a photovoltaic panel which sets the position of the system and rotates the its highly reflective mirror as the sun moves. An energy storage unit allows both the GPS ST® and the motor to have the extra power required during consecutive cloudy days.
